Join the Red Cross Blood Services and our volunteer team. Blood Drive Volunteers are needed to provide care and service to blood donors at our drives in Pima County. Community blood drives are scheduled throughout the month at various locations, and there are two donation sites- one on Broadway and one at Foothills Mall- that are open 7 days a week. Volunteer Drivers are also needed to transport life-saving blood products for patients in need.

The Sahuarita Food Bank could not feed our 130+ families a week without our volunteers. If you are a persuasive person with 5 or 10 hours a week available, you would be a perfect fit to help us find volunteers for a variety of opportunities: drivers and loaders, readers to small children, produce processors, food drive staff. You would meet with individuals and groups in-person and by phone.
The Sahuarita Food Bank distributes food to more than 130 families a week. Our strong winter volunteers have gone north. We need van drivers most mornings to pick up food at the Community Food Bank in Tucson and other locations. All you need is a driver’s license and the ability to lift 40 pounds. You are guaranteed a fulfilling volunteer opportunity and help hungry people at the same time.
