Lots of work to be done! Whatever your interest, if you care about cats as we do, there is a volunteer position awaiting you at Paws Patrol. Paws Patrol has no paid staff and relies entirely on volunteers to accomplish our goals.
Paws Patrol mission: Reducing feral cat overpopulation through T/N/R (trap/neuter/return) in order to create a healthier environment for our communities.
Volunteer opportunities:
- Adoption screeners for cats
- Assist with periodic mailings
- Assist with trapping feral cats for neutering and vet care
- Assist with various special events
- Clerical work–correspondence, data entry (custom database), return calls, etc.
- Coin Canister Program Coordinator
- Emergency Rescue Coordinator
- Feed feral cats in local controlled colonies
- Foster cats or kittens, even on an emergency 1 or 2 day basis
- Fundraising: planning and event-day volunteers
- Help with fundraising
- Liaisons to work with local animal rescue organizations
- Publicity: writing and/or phone follow-up
- Transport cats to and from vet
