For 30 + years, OLLI-UA has served as a life-enriching healthy aging education program for adults 50+. OLLI-UA is a community of learners filled with curious minds passionate about knowledge. OLLI-UA members bring their own life experiences to the classroom making for a very engaging and enthusiastic learning setting. At its essence, it’s learning just for the joy of it with no tests or grades.

OLLI-UA is a member-run, community-based learning environment that offers a diverse repertoire of 400+ intellectually stimulating, noncredit courses and educational activities each year, along with significant volunteer engagement and leadership opportunities.

OLLI-UA also serves as an amazingly effective health and wellness program in disguise, keeping members engaged intellectually and active socially. OLLI-UA creates new friends with similar interests and a passion for life and learning. Our schedule often provides a welcome respite from personal issues like caring for a loved one or recovering from loss.

OLLI-UA has three campus locations including one in Green Valley located at the Community Learning Center at 1250 W. Continental Road. Green Valley in-person classes operate in the Fall and Spring of each year. There are online class offerings year-round as well.  We serve 1,100+ members each year. Details on the Green Valley Campus can be found here.

Volunteer Opportunities:

As OLLI-UA is all volunteer run there are many options to stay active and give back.

OLLI-UA is always looking for volunteers to help lead or organize classes (you do not need to be a member to teach) You can learn more about teaching at OLLI-UA here.

Members are always invited to join the committees and help in ways big and small. Areas of need are curriculum, marketing, classroom audio / visual support, classroom hosts, and social event coordination to name a few. You can also serve on the Green Valley campus council to help ensure local campus operations live up to our community learning model or even serve on the Board of Directors.

Membership Dues:

Current OLLI-UA membership options can be found on our OLLI-UA homepage – https://olli.arizona.edu/
