Access to a sufficient supply of diapers is essential for the health of Southern Arizona’s infants, disabled and elderly, and the quality of life of our community, but too many individuals don’t have the resources to adequately provide for this basic need.

As long as poverty exists, children and adults in our community will need diapers. The need is already great and it’s growing: just this past year, those living below the poverty line in Pima County grew by 27 percent meaning that 1 in 4 children is born into poverty annually.

The Diaper Bank would not exist without the whole community pitching in to help, so let us know how you would like to help. Let’s see how we can turn those ideas into diapers for those who need them.

The Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona is looking for volunteers to serve as Ambassadors in Pima County!

Our goal for this program is to raise awareness about diaper need and period poverty while providing an opportunity for engaged individuals to connect and help drive positive change. To accommodate different lifestyles and interests, we offer multiple ways for you to get involved in our Ambassador Program.

  • Be a Media Maven: Use your social media platform to make a difference by helping to raise awareness and support our cause. Becoming a Media Maven is an easy but impactful way for anyone to get involved who has a social media account and is willing to share content that we provide to help generate conversation for the often overlooked issues of diaper need, period poverty, and adult incontinence.
Be a Neighborhood Drop-Off Location: Help secure much needed supplies by serving as a drop-off location for members of your local community to easily donate clean diapers and period products. Serving as a Neighborhood Drop-Off Location is great for people who have a little extra time and space to collect supplies, and enjoy interacting with members of their community.
Be a Community Organizer: Act as liaison within your community and identify opportunities to raise awareness about our cause and inspire others to take action.
