Current opportunities

Friends of the Library is in need of a Treasurer.

The Friends of the Green Valley Library is an active, all volunteer organization. We work to strengthen, promote, and champion the Green Valley and Sahuarita libraries through membership dues and funds raised in book sales that support programs, provide supplemental materials, and contribute to library improvements.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. They are the first impression of the Friends to customers and donors. Without our volunteers we couldn’t do what we do to support our Library! Most volunteers are active in the actual business of selling books, whether that’s at a community/member sale  the book store at the library or at the Green Valley Village, online sales, or other venues. We have positions to fit everyone standing and sitting!
