Rotary clubs conduct projects to address today’s challenges — including illiteracy, disease, hunger, poverty, lack of clean water, and environmental concerns — while encouraging high ethical standards in all vocations.

Where You Can Plug In Right Now
Our club already has a strong lineup of projects that match a wide range of interests and time commitments:
- “Flags on the Fourth” (July 4) – Our USA 250th Project
One of our most visible traditions—placing flags along La Cañada to celebrate Independence Day and community pride. - Hunger Walk for the Green Valley Food Bank (September)
A direct way to address food insecurity and support a vital local resource. - High School Mentoring Project (Oct.–March)
Help guide students as they prepare for life after graduation—career choices, education, and real-world readiness. A chance to make a lasting impact at a critical moment. - Interact Club Support (School Year)
Work alongside the next generation of Rotarians. Encourage leadership, service, and initiative in our local high school Rotary club. - “Seeding the Future” Greenhouse Project (Ongoing)
At Continental School, Rotarians help young students learn gardening, sustainability, and responsibility—hands-on, dirt-under-the-fingernails learning that sticks. - Teaching the Rotary Four-Way Test (“Goober Guys”) (Opportunity Open)
A fun, meaningful way to introduce children to ethics, honesty, and decision-making. This one is waiting for someone to take the lead. - Nogales, Sonora Desk Project
An ongoing cross-border effort that provides desks and learning support to students who need them. Service with a global perspective—right in our backyard.
Your Next Idea
- Rotary thrives on initiative. If you see a need, there’s a good chance others do too. Bring the idea forward—you won’t be alone in building it.
