Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center provides a comprehensive rehabilitation program with consistent, dedicated and reliable service. Santa Rita is both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. There is an activity program that provides various activities scheduled throughout the day, providing many opportunities and areas in which to volunteer. Our volunteers (ages 12 to 99 years of age) help with programs such as bingo and musical entertainment. They join us for shopping and eating out in the community. Volunteers do not need any expertise in an activity field. Sitting outdoors by the bird aviary, visiting or reading one on one is also very beneficial to our long-term care residents. Training is required for those people volunteering more than eight hours per week. Please contact us for information about volunteer opportunities.
