Through the efforts of the many volunteers of TIHAN we hope to ensure that accurate information regarding HIV and AIDS is available to all of our communities in Tucson, and that the fear surrounding the epidemic will be replaced with knowledge and compassion. As a volunteer-based non-profit organization, we rely on the support of our amazing volunteers who have provided more than 15,000 hours of service.

TIHAN services require compassionate and committed volunteers. Volunteers are provided with training, education and support to fulfill our mission of offering unconditional love and non-medical support to those living with HIV/AIDS, as well as their loved ones. Quarterly training sessions and continuing education programs are provided to keep volunteers updated on the latest issues related to HIV and AIDS.
