Lots of work to be done! Whatever your interest, if you care about cats as we do, there is a volunteer position awaiting you at Paws Patrol. Paws Patrol has no paid staff and relies entirely on volunteers to accomplish our goals.

Paws Patrol mission: Reducing feral cat overpopulation through T/N/R (trap/neuter/return) in order to create a healthier environment for our communities.

Volunteer opportunities:

  • Adoption screeners for cats
  • Assist with periodic mailings
  • Assist with trapping feral cats for neutering and vet care
  • Assist with various special events
  • Clerical work–correspondence, data entry (custom database), return calls, etc.
  • Coin Canister Program Coordinator
  • Emergency Rescue Coordinator
  • Feed feral cats in local controlled colonies
  • Foster cats or kittens, even on an emergency 1 or 2 day basis
  • Fundraising: planning and event-day volunteers
  • Help with fundraising
  • Liaisons to work with local animal rescue organizations
  • Publicity: writing and/or phone follow-up
  • Transport cats to and from vet
