Angel Heart Pajama Project provides new pajamas and books to children in need. Help us impact the lives of thousands of abused and neglected children with your valuable volunteer time. From infants to early teens, many foster children are living a life of pain and loneliness. These are OUR children and they need Angel Heart’s help and love.

Angel Heart is aware of Arizona’s 17,000 children in state custody, who often go to foster care in just the clothes they are wearing. We provide them with comfort by giving them PJs and a new book. Snuggling up in PJs with their own new book helps provide a secure, nurturing experience and helps create a special bonding that happens at bedtime.

The PJs for newborns, infants, toddlers and young children are distributed through shelters for the homeless and abused persons, food banks and other sites that benefit children in need. Among these sites are the Green Valley and Amado Food Banks, Sahuarita Food Bank, Green Valley-based Hands of a Friend shelter for domestic violence victims, Arivaca Action Learning Center and Sopori Preschool in Amado.

Angel Heart is always looking for help with folding, packaging and delivering pajamas and books to the sites that benefit children. We also can use help picking up donation boxes after our many campaigns. It is both a fulfilling and fun experience for all. Please inquire via email, patti.lopez@ymail.com
