Literacy Connects Introduces Workforce Development Department

Literacy Connects is proud to announce that we are expanding services for adult learners through a new Workforce Development Department! Launched July 1st, the department provides individualized career pathways planning, networking opportunities, internships, and job search support for our adult learners with employment goals.

Building on our past successful job readiness programming, the new department is designed to meet the growing needs of our diverse student population.

Services offered this fall include classes and workshops in English and Spanish, a drop-in Career Lab where students can work on digital skill-building and obtain help with their job search, and internship opportunities to acquire work-related experience.
