Arroyo Gardens is a independent and assisted living community in beautiful Green Valley, Arizona. Our facility features an indoor pool, billiards, game room, dance floor, crafts room, and fitness area. The staff organizes outings and in-house activities.

Our 85 residents enjoy apartment style living with a full-service restaurant for three meals a day, WIFI, and lots of activities available, but staff are always looking for new ways to make life more fun, and that’s where volunteers from the community can really help. Perhaps you’re into bridge, pinochle, cribbage, or some other table game. You could teach it and maybe start a regular group. If you play an instrument, the staff can help you organize a sing along. Maybe you have traveled a lot and would be willing to share your experiences in a travelogue presentation. A book lover could help start a book discussion group. You could host a bingo or karaoke session, run a trivia contest, read to them, share a skill or your knowledge of an interesting subject almost anything that keeps residents active physically, mentally, or both.

There are great opportunities for youth volunteers as well. Choir and band members, church and school youth groups, Scouts, and individuals could come in to entertain, do makeovers, trick or treat, or just sing happy birthday to residents.
