Volunteer visits may also provide a much-needed break for a caregiver when appropriate.  Visits are meant to engage the Veteran in enjoyable one on one social interaction, volunteer provides no hands-on care.

Tucson VA Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) volunteer process requires a few initial trips to Tucson VA campus for screening, orientation, and training.  On-going assignment will be in Sahuarita, Green Valley and surrounding area.  Time commitment per assignment is 1-3 hours 1 x week.  To apply or for additional information please contact us!
