The Santa Rita Experimental Range (SRER) is a University of Arizona research and educational area located near Madera Canyon, about one hour south of Tucson. SRER is used for ecological as well as rangeland management studies, and for related class field trips. It is administered from the UA Campus Ag Center near Roger and Campbell, in Tucson, and from a field station Headquarters in Florida Canyon.
